PE and Sports Premium

What is the School Sports Premium?

As part of the Olympic legacy, the Department of Education and the Department of Health have made £150 million available to all primary schools in the United Kingdom. This equates to a grant of £8000 per school, plus an additional £5 per pupil in key stages one and two.

The funding is ring-fenced, meaning that it can only be spent on improving the provision of physical education, school sport and healthy, active lifestyles.

We will use this to:

  • develop and add to the PE and sport activities that the school already offers
  • make improvements now that will benefit pupils joining the school in future years

See the documents below to show

  • How the Junior and Infants and Nursery intend to spend the allocation this year
  • Details of how we spent our previous academic year’s allocation
  • Evidence of Impact –how it has made a difference to the PE and Sport participation and attainment of pupils
