Year 1

Welcome to the Year 1 page!

We would just like to take this chance to welcome you all to Term 2.

We can't believe how quickly the first term flew by but the children have all settled in fantastically and they are certainly ready for the busy term ahead.

As usual, we will be adding lots of helpful information to this area of our site and we will continue to do so throughout the year so please check regularly for any updates.  We will also be uploading lots of photographs of your children enjoying life in Year 1 so you can share this experience with them.

Helping your child at home

Please help your child at home by:

  • Reading with them as often as possible

  • Helping your child to complete their Literacy and Maths homework and reminding them to hand it into their set teacher each week.

  • Making sure your child has everything they need when they come to school (book bag, water bottles, P.E kits & earrings out on PE days).
